A legal secretary must be proficient in SA law practices and use this to assist Legal Managers in an organisation. Strong administrative, computer and communication skills are necessary to perform daily operational skills. This exciting and dynamic profession will require you to work in complex situations, often with tight deadlines, as you prepare information for clients or relevant brands.
If you have the personality for a career as a legal Secretary, this course will provide you with the knowledge on legal and office practices, information processing, communication, marketing and personnel management.

Minimum Entry Requirements
Any of the following certificates will be accepted at registration:
- National Senior Certificate/Grade 12
- NCV Level 4 Certificate
- ABET Level 4 Certificate
Examination Board, Certification & ICASS
External examinations are administered by the Department of Higher Education & Training (DHET). The examinations are National Examinations. Certificates are awarded by the Department of Higher Education & Training. (DHET). A student will only be allowed to write the final examinations upon completion of the Portfolio of Evidence (POE) and 80% class attendance.
